Packaging Guru

This critical role will involve the wrapping, packing, and shipping of our various chocolate products. Our packaging is an important part of our brand and getting individual orders assembled and shipped out in a timely manner is fundamental to our success. We are seeking someone who can grow with this role and, in addition to the activities described above, will eventually manage our inventory of packaging and shipping materials. We will provide all training.

This is a part-time job, 8-15 hours per week initially in our Queen Anne location, but which we expect to turn into something more permanent and long-term. While we understand that life is unpredictable, we are prioritizing candidates who are willing to commit to this role for at least six months and who may be interested in working with Bellflower longer term. 

About You 

You are an optimistic, enthusiastic food lover, passionate about simple, honest, sustainable food, where it originates and how its production affects society. You are someone who possess a high degree of manual dexterity and a strong eye for good design and attention-to-detail. You don’t wait to be told what needs to be done: you see a problem, you solve it! You are curious, fun, and easy to get along with.  Bonus points if you bring great playlists to the kitchen music machine!  

Compensation 

The hourly wage for this position is $15.00. Bellflower Chocolate Company is a small firm and is not currently in a position to offer a benefits package, but we do offer a free Metro Pass for this role to cover the costs of transportation to and from the job.
